I don't know about you, but I'm sick of hearing/reading about Dorsey and the Admissions Department. I'm sick of rumors about expansion not being true.

I just want to talk about something else. So, no, I'm not joking.

You do know that he was suspended for the entire year right?

Seems like he had a chance to come back and start next year.  I know he had been working out with the team in the interim.

But how many chances can you keep giving a kid? Wow.

This makes me really sad. It sounds like he's gotten off track. I hope he gets the help he needs and uses this as a turning point in his life to get it together while he's still young.

WTF jen??? we're talking about a kid that stole computers from the school so he could sell them... gets a season suspension for it... has a chance to work his way back on the team... and then blows that chance because he got caught with pot and gets kicked off of the team... where did i see this before??? oh yeah with booboo... he didn't just make one mistake he has made 2 rather large ones and now he has to deal with it... i'm sure he knew damn well what he was doing both times which makes him even stupider...

My point is that he went from being a very successful quarterback to being suspended and now kicked off the team over a very short period of time. As I argued about Cissoko, these actions are generally indicative of larger personal problems. I fully believe that Masoli and Cissoko are both capable of getting their life back on track. People have a tremendous capacity for change and recovery.

HE IS THE  PAC-10 player of the year! His team won the Pac-10 and went to the rose bowl for the first time in 15 years. He gets arrested for breaking into his tutor's appartment and stealing laptops. The coach (Chip Kelly) suspends him for a whole year, but decides not kick him off the team instead allows him the chance to follow a set of guidelines that will allow him to be reinstated onto the team. What does he than do to repay his coach??? get arrested blowing through a stop sign with a bag of weed on him. Sorry we are not talking about what 15 year old Demar Dorsey did we are talking about what a 22 YEAR OLD MAN did, after he was already givin a second chance for stealing computers worth thousands of dollars.

Oh and my tag line I am not a Pac-10 player of the year/ Pac-10 champion and if I was... I sure as HELL would not be stealing computers and blowing through stop signs with weed on me. Flat out kid thought he was untouchable... key word thought

It just never ceases to amaze me the number of kids that piss away their futures with stupid decisions. They just have no clue. It's win win win situation. They get a free education doing something  they love, and then when they're through with college, they have the chance to make millions of dollars. Hindsight is going to kick them square in ass; especially when they are older.
