I believe those who watch this game will have their eyeballs melt right off of their face.
it's a major award
Im going to the Lions-Browns game, if I dont survive split my few Mgopoints between all of you.
You may look back at this as one of the worst decisions you have ever made.
Im excited because both teams are so bad they might pick fans out of the stands to play, hope I get picked.
I'm a Lions fan living in Cleveland. Having a party called 'Stupor Bowl'. Browns fans complain, but, hey, at least they've (somehow) won a game this year.
This might end up being the worst NFL game ever played.
On a side note, can anyone see it getting to the point where, if the Lions keeping getting top 2 or 3 picks in the NFL draft they might have to forfeit a top pick because they lack the cap room to sign them?
At some point the NFL going to make a "Ford rule" like the "Stepien rule" in the NBA. Except instead of the rule preventing a terrible GM from ruining a team by trading away all of its draft picks it would make the owner pay a fine if the team does not post a winning record over a period of X number of years, and the fine would increase with each year the team does not have a winning record.
Worse than Cleveland beating Buffalo 6-3???
Anderson was 2-17 for 23 yds, 1 INT.
I will never defend him again, but the receivers did drop 8. Yes that is right, EIGHT balls in that game. The guy shows to be half competent for one game and his WRs cant bail him out. Has there been a worse pro bowl QB ever?
Not to be fair-weather, but I've been watching the Lions for 40 years and I've finally become the apathetic fan that I loathed back in the 80's. I wish the Lions the best, but until the ownership changes, nothing will change. I refuse to give-up on Michigan, but the Lions, unfortunately, are a differernt story. Have fun at the game, but expect the worst and you may be pleasantly surprised.
The Lie Downs are giving three. Who knows how it will go? Will Quinn leave his tampons in the endzone and give the Lie Downs a free-bee or two? I'll stay away from that.
Enjoy Mike and Mike as they talk about this matchup. There's a couple of jems buried in there:
Whereas the Browns have absolutely zero on offense, the Lions actually have the ability to put some points on the board. Their defense is terrible, but I would say that their defense is less awful than the Browns' offense.
However, none of this really matters because the Lions are the best team in the league at finding ways to lose.
With 7,000+ tickets still remaining for this "instant classic", it looks like Michigan residents won't be afforded the opportunity to watch it on tv!
I thought the Lions/Rams game was going to be the worst NFL game ever played, and it did turn out to be pretty bad, but...wow. I think the NFL would be better off taking out the usual message about the broadcast being the property of the NFL and replacing it with a message informing viewers that any resemblance to football, professional or amateur, is purely coincidental.
not wear names on the back of their jerseys? Are they irrelevant to you or the thousands of others that use this blog?
I'm hoping Brady Quinn can save my fantasy team for the second week in a row. I have the Ravens defense, and his monster game last week gave me a come-from-behind win. The Ravens are playing the Colts this week, so I picked up the Lions defense hoping he can have a repeat performance.
the Browns defense isnt that bad except that the offense is so terrible the constantly leave bad field position and go 3 and out or only get 1 first down it makes it impossible for the defense.
Brady throws at least 2 INTs. Lions Offense is good enough that they can score on the tired ass browns defense in the 2nd half.
Cribbs last I heard was doubtfull so nobody has to worry about the only good part of the browns team.
