Do any of you know where I could find a Lamarr Woodley Michigan Jersey? He's my favorite wolverine of all time and since I'm a Browns fan I wouldnt dare buying his steeler jersey. Some direction would be much appreciated.
OT:Lamarr Woodley Michigan Jersey
But it's okay to wear a Michigan jersey in Cleveland? Seems like some OSU fans wouldn't like that.
especially if going somewhere to get food.
If I watch a Michigan game in public I don't eat there and I only go to a place where I can watch them pour my beer.
Buckeye fans can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. I love Cleveland I hate OSU. I rock my Michigan gear everywhere I go in Ohio.
Hell yeah! If I lived in Cleveland I would be right beside you. However, I live on the opposite side of Ohio, but I sport my Michigan gear all the time here.
Everyone is all talk, they'll yell, they never do shit though. And trust me, a Steelers jersey is much much worse than walking around in Michigan gear. The only thing worse than a Steelers jersey at the present time in c-town is anything with the Heat on it.
but there is an authentic game worn Jersey on ebay...
I think more than a bit pricey, this jersey is probably a bit large for any normal human
There's exclusive - and then there's EXCLUSIVE.
PS - any game jersey is going to fit most of us like a tent. Unless you opt to wear pads... Hmmm... wonder how much game day shoulder pads cost?
Not true. Although pads (and the men wearing them) are obviously big, the jerseys worn by DLinemen, Linebackers, and OLinemen especially are made to fit so tightly that usually the player himself cannot put it on over his pads without assistance; they often take multiple people to help him put it on. The reason is so they can't be held; players used to actually spray Pam non-stick cooking spray on their jerseys to help with this also until it was outlawed. The jerseys usually have some sort of synthetic material in them such as lycra or something woven in which helps them stretch over the pads so they are as tight as humanly possible. Thus, when they are worn without pads, they are smaller than you'd think and can be worn by a normal person.
Free shipping though. So you got that goin for ya, which is nice.
on the Michigan - Florida coin toss coin.
How come there is no name on it?
ps-anyone know if adidas can bring back the jersey's with the "M" on the sleeve or was that design exclusive to nike?
Nameplate was taken off by equipment staff.
Not sure about the M on the sleeves though.
Wish the Adidas one had the Ms on the sleeves.
I would say with 99.999 percent assurance that jersey is a fake. It probably is authentic, however, there is no way Woodley was wearing a size 48 which is a medium. I have 48 and 50 jerseys and I am quite tall and skinny and nowhere near the weight or muscle Woodley has. I would be shocked if he could even fit in a size 48, it would look like a elephant in a speedo.
You may be on to something. I don't know anything about jersey sizes, but it looks really clean and perfect for a D line jersey.
Maybe 2 fakes out of 5?
I have a authentic helmet from the BCS game against Texas that was a players who never played in that game, so it's clean. And I have a jersey that is game used by Jay Feely, which has the nameplate removed and is def worn and torn...the only reason I knew it was Feely is because after figuring out the year of the jersey the only other player that wore that number that year was a youngster named Dhani Jones and there is no way he was wearing the size 48. Nike runs fairly true to size but a 48 is fine on me, but wearing pads it would be fairly tight and would not be easy to move around in, if you factor in the extra 100 plus pounds and muscles that Woodley has the seller is on crack if he thinks it is game worn. Woodley probably wore a 52 or 54, not to mention that year they did sell authentic jerseys in number 56, or more than likely it was #56 Lawrence Reid LB 6-1, 219lbs. They wore those jerseys in 2002 and someone 219 is more likely to squeeze into that then someone 260+.
That same seller has an authentic Chad Henne jersey from the cap1 bowl and it's also a 48. Remember that Henne has an inch on Woodley and only weighed about 20 lbs less. Given that the jerseys are intended to fit VERY tight over the pads, I could see Woodley wearing a 48.
I would just go to mden and buy a custom made jersey with the #56 on it, although you can't write woodley in the back. That will run you about $110. Personally i would get a custom #56 that reads LAMARR($120). Or just get #56 and leave the name blank.
That works, but then it will be an adidas jersey. I don't know if that matters or not to the OP but If I were buying a woodley jersey i'd want it to be a Nike one.
I hate to be nit picking.... but is this OT?
