OTish: An analogy

I think in our case, the fan base is the girlfriend in question, Michigan Football is the boyfriend, and Brady Hoke is the replacement engine. 

He might be a little bit old, but we hope he's functional.  He's not new and shiney, but he's what we've got now. 

It's not really our place to tell our boyfriend what to do with his money, even if we have strong opinions about it. 

What we should do is help in any way possible.  Even if it's just window dressing.

I guess in this analogy, that means helping with recruiting, keeping things positive in the national media, and supporting the players.

It also means that if you're a rich booster, do what Florida, OSU, Auburn, and USC did.  Let's find good ways that are completely untraceable to pay players and bring the blue chips here.  Because fuck it, the NCAA is fucking broke.  Lets do what we have to do in order to rebuild this program.  And now that we'll get a fucking free pass from the fucktards in the press, we might as well use it.
