Other Worldly OT- UFO seen over China

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

Saw this on Letterman first...and while I present it without commentary, we had a lot of fun with meteor footage...and besides not knowing what the hell this is, it certainly has a track you can dance to...

I think the explanation is pretty good.  This is a recycled video.  The video had been out before with Kazakhstan as the location and an earlier date and explained (debunked) as such, then someone changed the location to China and gave it a newer date, re-released it on the net and it boomed without the original explanation attached to it.

... that is, objects in the sky that can't be explained by conventional earthly means. As weird-looking as this one is, though, it isn't one of them.

In general, there's huge amounts of misinformation and fraud when it comes to UFOs, and it's hard separating the wheat from the chaff. Plenty of sightings can be explained as rocket launches or the ISS passing overhead, or Venus, but far from all of them can be.

I believe in UFOs in the sense that there are probably quite a few objects out there that we have not, as of yet, identified. I won't believe in alien spaceships until I see one with my own eyes though, and anyone who jumps to the conclusion that they've seen an alien spaceship before ruling out everything else gets a check mark in the crazy column in my book.

Then I have no explanation for 19th of January 1985? Your telling me that after an all night party/puke fest I didn't actually get abducted and probed by aliens? Then I can't explain why I felt miserable for 2 days if I can't blame aliens.

I agree most UFO sightings are BS.  Some aren't though.  What are your favorite cases?  Mine would be Gordon Cooper's (NASA)  story about his time in the Air Force and the sightings that he had.
