But more sad, but he is a kid and a kid is going to make mistakes, but be very thankful for a kid like Shane Morris. I just remember when we were bummed out when he chose Auburn, but look at what this kid "Could" bring to any college program. Zeke has great potential, but i will take Shane Morris in a year over Zeke Pike and his off the field antics. I expect things to happen when a kid is at college, but at High School and there are already problems. No Bueno.

THIS IS MICHIGAN!!

It's just pot, not a big deal.  Definitely doesn't seem like a big enough deal to post considering it's one game for something so little.

So, would you want players playing for MICHIGAN who are using pot? For god sakes, THIS IS MICHIGAN!! I know it has happened, but it brings a shadow onto the program, don't ya think?

and I will probably be negged for this, but a surprising amount of college athletes smoke weed. And yes, that even happens here at Michigan. Overall it may be less then at some other schools, but lets not completely act that it does not exist. There are a fair amount of Michigan athletes out there (past, current, and inevitably future) who are/will be smoking the ganja. So lets please not act like we are perfect and above it.

Are we talking about the same Michigan where the thing to do at halftime (for fans, not players) was to head to the southeast corner of the stadium, there by Crisler, and have a halftime toke? Those were the days... I bet most of the D.A.R.E. grads on here have no idea about that.

I didn't realize you could test for Mr. Nice Guy or K2.. All those chemicals haven't been researched either. I'm willing to bet they are much worse than cigarettes..

I live in Northern Kentucky and I have heard that Auburn has already pulled their offer for Pike and that he was trying to get back in touch with Michigan but I can't see them wanting to take on a kid with the headaches this one comes with.  I saw him play earlier this year in person and he does have the size and the arm but I am not sure about his neck up and his team was terrible.

In my opinion, I'm not so much bothered by him smoking a moderate amount of reefer or synthetic reefer in his free time (I'd probably prefer the real stuff, that synthetic stuff is probably pumped full of chemicals). My problem, mostly if he was a Michigan commit, is that he was smoking it in the LOCKER ROOM before a PLAYOFF game. Even though it's not the real stuff, it still gets you buzzed. That's highly irresponsible and is behavior that's extremely unbecoming of a starting QB, a team leader, and a future division 1 football student-athlete. Imagine David Molks reaction if he pulled that crap as a Michigan player before a bowl game. Talk about a$$ whooping of a life time.

You are right.  This is n't his first time.  He was caught with marijuana in middle school.  ONe girl still has consistent nose bleeds because he slammed a dodge ball on her face when he was losing.  bad news with this guy

I love the reaction every time a former player does anything remotely wrong: "Dodged a bullet with this one!!!11!1!1!1!"

When he kills five hookers or flames out and brings down an entire program a la TPryor then we can talk about dodging a bullet...its POT. its like the Apple Pucker of drugs...

My two sons went to elementary school with him.  The bullying from him was so bad I removed them from the public school and put them in private school.  He wouldv'e been kicked out in a private school the first day.  These issues have been long coming.
