WTF did Alabama and LSU play again in the BCS title game, despite Bama having lost to LSU earlier that season?

So, basically then, Ohio's hockey team must have ESS EEE CEE speed.

not impressed. at least not until they manage to hit ludicrous speed.

I wonder how much they would have dropped if they actually got swept by BGSU like they should have... I'm surprised they were still 2nd after that. At any rate, they won't stay up long I'm sure. We're a quality team so they shouldn't drop that far but definitely strange to see that.

They would be #3. The website below allows you to edit results/add games and produce new PWR's based off the changes.

It's called "all the other games they played this season." They often have they ability to outweigh the results of a single weekend. We've spent considerable effort on this site trying to explain that to Michigan State fans lately.

It's based on points. OSU has earned a bunch of points so far and just because they lose doesn't mean they are going to lose points. It takes other teams beating the top RPI teams in addition to OSU's losses for them to earn more points than OSU and knock them down the rankings.

This is a good thing. The better they look, the better we look for sweeping them.

Semi-pet peeve: people thinking a rating system is stupid because it didn't drop someone after a loss. Not to say the Pairwise isn't sometimes stupid, but this isn't why.
