By the way, this is why I'm glad we didn't recruit Tank Carradine again.  He was a questionable-character guy in high school, and apparently he still is.

While certainly not this blatant I have heard of recruits tagging along with friends who are also recruits just to attend a game.  Of course all the trimmings that go with it.

I always thought if I was an elite athlete coming out of high school I would feign so much interest in nD and OSU so they waste as much time recruiting me as possible, only to sign with Michigan. If the coach is taking his time to make a home visit on you, he can't recruit someone else during those hours. It's kinda funny.

I don't know much about recruiting rules, but technically couldn't that constitute as a recruiting violation as they could argue that OSU paid for him to visit his mother?  In that case, wouldn't you think that OSU would self-report?
