Game 1 pitching matchup - Verlander vs Zito
This is a flawless impersonation of Miguel Cabrera by Phil Coke. Great way to start the night. Go Tigers!!
HEY! You there!
Verlander gets an RBI tonight,,Rookie Garcia puts one in the cove,, and the Tigers win 6-2
Go Tigers!!
I am really nervous about the week off, hopefully they come out refreshed and we don't see 2006 all over again.
Looking at the matchup purely on paper we have no excuse not to dominate SF, but we all know how that goes. World Series champs or bust!
Look for the giants to bunt at our pitchers to force them to make a play just like St Louis did in 06'.
Discuss.
It is spelled HOKEAMANIA. Our coach is an ass-kicking American citizen, not one of the Beatles, for Christ's sake!
Tigers win 3-2 is my prediction. And on a side note, I heard Fitz got another DUI. Wonder what Hoke decides to do with him.
I was just on my fantasy football app and it said that on the espn newsline at the bottom of the screen.
Also, what is with the weird start on that video?

After TBS I have never been so happy to see Joe Buck's face.
Cool to have WXYT online and it's pretty synced up with the TV broadcast. Fun to listen to some Detroit homerism. ;)
It's sort of interesting really that one of the people in the booth now for FOX - Tim McCarver - played against the last Triple Crown winner in the 1967 World Series actually.
As Zito goes to 3-2 on Cabrera, I appreciate the idea the idea that walking Miguel Cabrera and facing Prince Fielder seems like a nice problem to have...for the team that has Cabrera and Fielder.

Verlander's first career hit. Will it be tonight? Will it be a home run?
Warning: My imagination is inefficient.
Call me a bandwagon fan, whatevs. But as a Tigers fan that's only been paying attention since 2005-ish, can someone explain to me why they don't make the rules even between the leagues, what with the pitchers batting and all?
This strike zone is really a love-hate thing. I think it works in our favor in terms of Zito vs Verlander, but it is still frustrating seeing what looks like a strike not being called.
Verlander is the worst pitcher in the world. Bench him now.
Anyone have a stream for price and Dickerson broadcasting?
Also, I hate iOS6 and YouTube...lets go tigers
Luck does not seem to be on our side tonight.
Well shit. What are the odds of that happening.

If the old D cannot beat Zito with JV on the mound...I am officially in panic mode. Kate Upton is pissed!
let's go tigers!
P.s. It's a little early to start a game thread( there's more than an hour till game time).
Hail! to the Victors Valiant Hail!
