You jinxed it!
"...don't believe something because an "expert" is saying it. Believe it because of the evidence."
You jinxed it!
Man, didn't want to see Lincecum in here. No, seriously, I didn't want to see him because I just plain don't like looking at him and his dog ugly hair.
Super mullet looks like super douche
like the kid from Dazed and confused.
Five-alarm fire at the dumpster factory
still beat Staee Saturday
Why did they not just shut down Valverde?
When they took Verlander out, I e-mailed a friend that at least we didn't have to worry about the bullpen blowing the game for him. Never occurred to me they'd actually put in Valverde.
Justin probably should have pitched better in that all star start. Dumbest thing in sports, the whole all-star-winner-home-field-thing, but ... I missed the game but when I heard JV post-game talking about how he was just trying to hit 101 "for the fans" and "having fun" I cringed ... wait, wut? What are the chances in all of humanity that would come back to haunt him but here we are. I'm sure he would have been much more comfortable starting at home.
I don't like this Pagan-Scutaro-Sandoval thing. Not one bit.
Now we're short one pitcher.
That's the silver lining of this shit show; there's a good chance we will never have to see valverde's sorry ass in a tigers uniform ever again. This possibility makes me happy
Giants had a better record anyway. They would have had home field regardless.
its decided by who wins the all-star game now
I know it is. I thought he was talking about if home field wasn't decided in the All Star game but by record. Either way San Fran would have had it. But I guess if JV was pitching to win instead of entertaining in that game it might have been a little different.
he's nowhere near the only reason the AL lost that game so don't even try that. They scored 0 runs and he pitched two innings.
Valverde in to save the day...lmao
Welp, time to draw up the euthanasia solution for this old horse.
I actually really feel bad for Big Papi. Damn. 5 batters, 4 hits. Dude's cooked
It's Papa Grande. Big Papi is David Ortiz. And don't think Valverde is deserving of any positive nicknames until he stops pitching like something bad is going to happen whether or not that ever happens again while he's in a Tigers uniform.
In my game induced sadness, I did in fact, err on the matter. Thank you for politely pointing that out.
I think Big Papi could pitch better than Valverde is right now.
I don't know what is worse...watching Valverde or watching Gerg's D on 3rd down?
and destruction tonight. fortunately runs don't carry over to the next game.
Things we learned tonight:
Tigers just got mounted by the Panda!
Lincecum starred in the Disney movie, The Emperors Groove?! http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/6800000/Llama-the-emperors-new-g... @bigclam69 @AceAnbender @TremendousUM
Well, that sucked.
Have you guys really never seen Tim Lincecum?! Like, his hair-do isn't anything new, he's been around for few years.
They blew out our ace! Worried that the brooms may be coming out. But one thing I've learned this season never give up on the Tigers!
this thread is awesome. go giants!
also: im pretty sure barry zito had pine tar on his hat. kept touching a very shiny part of his bill before each pitch. really showed up as it got dark and the lights came on.
