you bite your tongue. they're finding a groove, sucks that the break is coming up but it could be good for howard. Good thing about playoffs are no shootouts.

He's really not on board with the whole shootout thing yet, is he? Great to see him finally ready to play 60 minutes with the big boys after 5 years, though. Is the free-agent goalie carousel (+Ozzy) finally going to stop?

If they play as well as they did the past two games, they will make the playoffs easily and probably do some damage come playoff time...but the way this year has gone sports wise, they probably will stop playing well soon and then i will get really frustrated.

Yeah, but Holmstrom is out again. So good to see the Mule back, but damn, they are snake-bitten on injuries this season. It's been like a Lions pre-season . . . I hope team Sweden gets knocked out early and no one else gets hurt.

Considering they play at least 4 games and Sweden is in a group with Belarus and Germany... Not likely they'll get knocked out early.

Thankfully, Lundqvist is not on fire this year. Having Lidstrom in front of him will help, but I still don't see them making it far out of the group.

I'm hoping this olympic break is gonna help us... If not I dont know what i'm gonna do if Michigan doesnt make the NCAA Hockey tourney and no Red wings in the playoffs.

San Jose chokes every year in the playoffs plus we play well against them anyways. I'd love to see us pull the 7 or 8 seed and draw them in the first round.

Haha I've been saying this for weeks. Playing San Jose in the first round would be amazing. We've already beat them three times this year with a battered line-up. If we were healthy I think we would walk through them in the first round.
