I don't think he did since he went after Parise and Suter. Personally, I am glad he didn't panic and overpay long term for anyone after missing out on the two mentioned. And we are currently contending for the playoffs while missing contributors all season.

Franzen (whose contract is more than he's worth, but he is not a useless player), Bert, Sammy, Helm, ColoItalianName, Smith, and others have missed time this year. Wings' players have missed more games from injuries than any other team and its not close. And it really hurts us b/c we Sony have depth like we've had in years past. None of the guys I listed are superstars, but that doesn't mean they aren't valuable to the team. I would say they all are even if it were just for more fresh legs in a condensed and shortened season like this.

In 2007-08, we had #3 PP and #8 PK.

Wings are pretty hard to define this year. They're actually better than I originally anticipated, as in they can compete with just about any team, but they struggle with leads and closing out games.
And say what you want about Tootoo, but he is one of the most entertaining players on the Wings this year.

Wings are a disaster. Don't know how holland thought this was a playoff contending team. I'm getting tired of not being physical on defense. Plus we have had a pathetic special teams unit every since Babcock has taken over.
