OT: Wings Vs. Bruins Game 3

Puck Drop 7:30 EST
TV: NBCSN or FSD
Daniel Alfredsson is out. In is Jokiam Andersson. This will be his first game played in the 2014 playoffs. Andersson played 14 games last year as a rookie.
Jakub Kindl replaces Alfredsson at the point, along with Danny DeKeyser) on the second power-play unit (joining Tomas Tatar, Riley Sheahan and Jurco).
Here are the lines the Red Wings skated with this morning:
Johan Franzen-Pavel Datsyuk-Justin Abdelkader
Tomas Tatar-Riley Sheahan-Gustav Nyquist
Tomas Jurco-Darren Helm-Joakim Andersson
Drew Miller-Luke Glendening-David Legwand
LET'S GO RED WINGS!
LGRW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get em at the Joe
Heads up, skate fast, avoid hits & scrums, and dictate tempo gentlemen. If the Red Wings do that, I like their chances at the Joe.
Let's Go Red Wings!
Swing that octopus, Al!
Fuck, PPG them.
Weak goal. I hope to hell Howard doesn't shit the net again tonight.
Go Wings!
We're getting dominated in our zone, the breakout just isn't there and we're turning the puck over like crazy.
OT, but Miggy just clubbed a 2-run shot.
5-1 Tigers, bottom 3
It amazes me how this team can find ways to come out so uninspired at times, especially at home, always accompanied by some lame excuse like, "Well, you know, it was the first game back from a road trip, you know how that is." We'll be hearing something similar later tonight or tomorrow if they don't wake up soon.
Son of bitch. Shit.
damn
Yup, too many men on the ice penalty, now a horrible line change, clearly not ready to play. Great timing for a mid-January, "We got out of bed five minutes before game time"-type outing.
game over

Like I said- game was over after the second goal. Wings had no life in them all night. Absolutely embarassing
Flip over to FSD +, the Tigers offense has been resurrected.
time to start drinking. let's make this a drinking thread. i am enjoying my homebrew, a Rogue Shakespear Stout clone.

Great way to drown sorrow

For say............. Nyquist
That was a horrible period. I really miss Zetterberg.
Well, if I counted right, that comes to eleven shots on goal for Boston compared to only four of them for us. Helm, Jurco and Andersson are all -1 right now, I believe, plus probably one or two others on the Wings right now. We look sort of uninspired at the moment, but there are 40 minutes left.
disinterested*

"Uninterested" was correct.
I've seen the Red Wings erase deficits in playoff games aplenty. I don't think it's the score being lamented, but the pisspoor effort, lack of focus, and resemblance to a group of guys playing together for the first time in their lives. Yes, that is going to evoke griping.
Bro, I know you're being positive and I can appreciate that but we're posting on a blog. Nothing we can do helps or hurts.
Absolutely zero space in the offensive zone, losing all board battles, things aren't looking good. That's where it really hurts not having Z in the lineup. Franzen is a damn ghost at this point. Johan needs to get his act together, score a goal, and we might get back into this thing.
