I am surprised Bettman hasn't tried to censor him, he rips on the refs every game. You are right though, he will call out whoever regardless of their team.
Why let a hockey game have any flow? I love the game being stopped every 2 minutes to get the PP/PK teams on the ice

I think it is time for him to retire after the playoffs are over, we have too many young guys in the AHL that are far better than Homer. I feel bad saying that but Homer needs to go.
I think he needs to stay if it helps convince Lidstrom to stay. They are a big part of each others routine and pregame, I'd hate to give Lidstrom any more incentive to leave than he'll already have.
Lidstrom needs to stay just to groom Smith, Kindl, and Ericson another season. Plus i don't see Stuart staying in Detroit with his family situation.
They need to step up and show they're better and make Homer a healthy scratch.

The fans for teams like Nashville piss me off. They've got no Stanley Cups, no Conference Championships, not even a freaking Division Title, yet they get a somewhat good team and suddenly they think their shit don't stink.
They aren't as bad as Ohio "hockey fans" who came out of nowhere when they were winning this past season and the second they started dropping, "We have a hockey team?"
