OT: WIngs game 2 open thread.

Yes I know the spring game is going on, but this is playoff hockey in Hockeytown.

Zetterburg is still a scratch for this game with his knee injury, but plans on traveling with the team to Phoenix for games 3 and 4 but still unsure if when he will play.

LETS GO WINGS.

I think we will be fine without Zetterberg this series. Im not looking forward to playing either Nashville or Anaheim next round. Then San Jose and the Canucks will beat each other and hopefully whoever wins that series will be exhausted. But if Howard plays like he played in game one I really see us making it to the finals

I've seen some press about how loud JLA has been, and Emerick just noted that there are younger fans there these days.

I've thought in recent years that JLA was comparatively quiet, but apparently it was really loud for game 1.

A welcome development.

That is fucked up...although you can argue that that his wasn't 'illegal', Doan has always been a VERY dirty player and that hit has no place in hockey. But this is the playoffs, Franzen will be back after some stitches and will likely score a goal and have two points in the win today.

You guys think Z is on his way back? I'd love to be pleasantly surprised, but I was under the impression that we'd be lucky to see him again even with a deep run in the playoffs. Anyone heard any more definitive (yes, I know no injury news is definitive in hockey) news lately?

He's one of those players that if he's on your team you love him but everyone else hates him. He has strong skill but tat the same time never misses an opportunity to make a physical play and take the body.

However in doing so he many times plays overly dirty - thus creating the hate from opposing fans.
