That was a very good article. Datsyuk isn't just great on the ice, he seems incrediable likeable off the ice as well. Seems to have a pretty good sense of humor and his humility is off the charts.

Since there wasn't a thread for the early game, I will gladly deposit this here: I was pleasantly surprised and wrong about Tampa Bay. Based upon what I'd see from both teams, I'd predicted they wouldn't win a game against Washington. I'll gladly eat my words on that one! :)

Datsyuk is at the top of his game again, and Z looks pretty strong all things considered. It is a good thing they had a strong shift, it seemed like the momentum was really shifting in favor of SJ.

He knocked him off the puck cleanly. He didn't hook or trip him, he just shouldered him off the puck. That is the garbage make up call I refered to. These officials are so piss poor sometimes.

And they weren't great at explaining more than each deserving a penalty, but it seemed that Pavelski punched a defenseman after he got hit by Howard, so the call was right on
