OT: Why don't the Lions have division title/retired jersey banners?

Never really understood why they don't have any banners hanging in Ford Field. They didn't even do this when they played at the Silverdome.

I get that hanging NFL champions banners from the old days would be fodder for internet and opposing fans. But what about the pair of division titles they won in the 90s? And the former greats they had play for them like Bobby Lane, Doak Walker, Barry Sanders etc?

When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....

One of the retired jerseys belonged to wr  #85 Chuck Hughes who passed away on the field during a game [heart attack, I think].  Because the Lions were behind and there was not much time to play, the radio announcer originally thought Hughes was pretending to be hurt, so that the officials would call a time-out.  When the announcer was quickly informed how bad it really was, the radio went silent for a bit before the announcer recovered.

They had division championship banners at the Silverdome in the last couple seasons. I guess they didn't really save space for them in the design of Ford Field. Honestly, I don't think any pro team should celebrate division championships with banners. It's ridiculous how many banners the Wings used to have ("1987 Norris Division Playoff Champions").

- The Lions had division/championship banners at the Silverdome, but enever moved them to Ford Field.

- The Lions didn't plan on having a Ring Of Honor, but when the NCAA took over Ford Field in 2008 or 2009, they put up a lot of decorations with adhesive that messed up a lot of surfaces.  The Lions then put up banners as a "ring of honor" that completely cover up the stains.
