this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
OT: which Mgo app is the best for droid?
I think the bug issues you're thinking of were for the beta/first release. It's up and running fine now
You can use a web browser to view the normal site instead.
That's extremely slow on 3g, especially if there are gifs and what not, which there usually are. The android app is great though.
Can't you just use the actual website?
Is, the videos and pictures don't show up half of the time, using the full website on my phone.
oh well, It's a shitload faster than the full website. p.s. first post with the app
I'm not a fan of the app to be honest. Not sure why so many people have issues using in Safari on iPhone? Perhaps you don't have 4G LTE? I don't have any issues with it loading. Vidoes, gifs, etc.
Droid app works great....once the bugs got worked out I actually use it more on the droid instead of using my laptop.
Phone almost exclusively.
Don't know what the issue is other than occasionally Swype make some terrible decisions.
Matter of fact, i always use full websites. Hate mobile ones.
Buy an iPhone.
the only issue is that it crashes when i post. if this is posted then it's ok today.
I exclusively use the app and do not have a problem with it at all. The only time I jump on my laptop to check the main site is to create a thread or going forward to see the recruiting board.
Just buy an iPhone dude!
If he wants mediocre I guess he could do that.
Speaking of apps, is there any chance we will be able to moderate and post threads from the apps at any point?
As far as I know, the devs are just guys who volunteered to create apps for the blog. You should be able to email the dev for your respective OS (I know you can email the android dev via the Play Store, I can only assume you'd be able to do the same with the Apple app).
I never knew the guys who created the apps were volunteers. I just assumed they were paid staff. Thank you to those who used their abilities to benefit the community, the app is great!
You should be able to post threads from the apps, assuming you have over 100 points.
but if anyone is on Twitter and NOT following MGoFeed I suggest you do so right NOW. It will let you know anytime a new thread is started on the MGoBoard. It's amazing.
