OT: Where to buy UM Headband/Sweatband/Skullcap/Whatever
Apologies ahead of time as this pertains to no sport. I'm looking for a Christmas gift for an athletic guy that likes UM and likes to wear head gear when he works out. He loves these, but I've never actually seen them in stores, at MDen, etc. I don't even know what you call them. I've searched sweatbands, headbands, skullcaps, etc. with no luck. I see players wearing them all the time under their helmets on the sidelines. Anyways, my question is where can you actually buy one of these and what are they called?

Try the university web site. They sell merchandise online.

official football gear isn't sold except in the annual garage sales. I think this year's edition already happened. Maybe try eBay.

You might try contacting the athletic department. My mom once did this when I wanted an item as a kid and they were very helpful.

It might be a sleeve from a t-shirt that they've cut off. That's what the kids do these days.

You are correct!

No, they're over run by Spartan swag now. That seems to be the hot spot to get the green and gold gear.

But that's how I can be a Walmart Wolverine.

Try Mden (online) or go to AA and check the store there.

That's a cut off adidas Michigan skully. You can get one and cut it yourself if you want to cut it.
It's on sale. LINK

it claims to be a "sideline headband" but it also looks similar to an ear warmer.

Going off of this, does anyone know where one could buy Michigan basketball shoes? Like the ones the players have worn over the last couple years?

I've also wondered this, as the shoes they sell at the M den are just maize and blue adidas shoes. Does anyone know where to get the basketball shoe that the players wear?

Looking at them in the mden right now.

I've been wondering what those are called for the longest time. I want one of those to wear over my locs when I wear my ball caps.

I just don't see the need for a skull cap.

When I played, I had long hair and I used one to get my helmet on easier and keep the hair from getting in my face when I pulled my helmet on.

I use a non-logo'd skull cap on my bald head as a night cap in the winter - my SO turns the thermostat down to the low 60's at night.

I was just at ocean job lots and they have a MI sports section

If anyone knows where I can pick up a pair size 11.5 to 12 I would really be appreciative of your help. They had straps on them and one side I believe said Lets go and the other side underneath the velcro strap said blue. They were mostly Blue with Maize accents I would really like to buy another pair.
