My sorrows away.
Also, enough to probably blind an elephant.

Sam Adams Latitude 48. One more left. :(
I don't have any opium.
Summer Ale with Jet's pizza - first time eating it and I love it.
I have some Jet's Pizza here myself, although I am enjoying it with Angry Orchard Traditional Dry Cider, which actually makes for an interesting taste combination in a good way. The kids just passed out finally, so it is me, my food and Tigers baseball and a smattering of MGoBlog for the remainder of the evening.
Jack&coke's along with Sam Adams Boston lager, cherry wheat and two Milano Canadians. Wild night over here.
Milano, molson - kind of the same thing spellcheck.
Natty Light. Feeling nostalgic.
Burnett's, because I am a 20-year old University of Michigan student.
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Just turned on the blues and Blackhawks game, but is that ken Daniels callin the game? Sounds like him
I just flipped over from the Philly game and I'm 99% sure it's him.
The buzz on twitter is that it is him.
If I recally correctly, he usually does PBP for the playoffs once FoxSportsDetroit stops covering games and/or when the Wings get eliminated.
I always figured Mitch was leaving, so there's no pain with me. The exact circumstances of his departure just confirm yet again that the NCAA is irredeemably stupid and corrupt.
Sam Adams Porch Rocker
Ahhh warmer weather ahead.
All Day IPA, also have a couple Oberon left. Perfect Tiger game to drink to!
shouldn't this be what are you smoking tonight?
kona brown. Wifey has the grapefruit ipa. Ribs from twisted rooster and kids are asleep. Life is good.
Live a few blocks from Perrin. All good stuff. Wife enjoys the grapefruit as well.
So many good beers.
But I'm not in love with that pole-barn they inhabit.
I stopped in last Saturday and the place was packed! Obviously that's a good thing, shows how much people have taking a liking to their brews there. Problem with the place, though, is the decibel level is so very high---whether the place is empty, full, or somewhere in between, it's nearly impossible to carry on a conversation as their is nothing in that building to absorb the noise. We (my brothers and a few of the nephew and nieces) took off after a relatively short visit and instead headed to another local tavern (Nick Fink's) where we could continue to enjoy some Perrins AND enjoy a conversation.
I don't have a problem with the place being packed, as I absolutely love going to Founders when it is packed (despite the absolute disaster their parking situation is). The acoustics there allow a group to enjoy both the beers and the conversation, not to mention the entertainment they offer on weekends.
End of rant. Right now just doing some light snacking while watching the Tiger bullpen barely preserving the remnants of what was once a 9-run lead, while I'm sippin on a Bell's Midwestern Pale Ale. It's become one of my favorites in the Bell's regular lineup. I'd take this one 90% of the time over their Oberon.
kona brown is THE breakfast beer. Just so happens that it's the lunch, dinner and bedtime snack beer as well, but the fact that I live on the opposite end of town forces me to draw the line somewhere. If I lived only blocks away...yikes.
Yes. Always start the day with a good hearty breakfast.
I love Kona.
I love Twisted Rooster.
That is all.
American Stout that I named MANifest Drishti... Perhaps the American Barleywine next, Maltra vs Hopzilla. First day of vacay!
What's the Maltra? The last time I drank a Barleywine I had the worst hangover. I think the guy who made it had a ton of fusels.
Short's Huma Lupa Licious and leftover pizza. Go me.
Good choice, picked up a sixer of that myself after work today.
Vodka tonics....long day
Two Hearted. Back at Purdue as an alumnus. Decided to up the quality from hamms special light..
Nothing yet, just left the baseball game, 4-6 vs Nebraska. Oh well the family had fun. Go Blue!
Sierra Nevada Torpedo.
Here's to Mitch. Have fun in the NBA, young man.
Budweiser tall boys tonight. I've been spending too much on microbrew.
Traverse City Cherry Wheat
Evil Twin Imperial Doughnut Break. I am not a porter person, but this one is good.
Four roses single barrel private selection
Vodka sodas in jacksonville, in town for the welcome to rockville festival tomorrow
Up, with a twist. Ice cold. I am on my second one, express train to Oblivia.
Ever since they set up a tail gate at the liquor store beside my house
Sippin on some Toto's as well. on the rocks aka Chicago tap water.
Tito's. damnit. auto correct. on my phone. drunk?
For the weekend. drinking Beck's at the Hilton Midtown after a delicious dinner at WD-50.
Welcome to New York. After a meal at WD 50, you should have walked two blocks over to Ludlow Street and enjoyed some semi-professional downscale drinking at Iggys, one of the few seedy holdouts remaining on the Lower East Side. Happy hour until 9pm with Rogue Dead Guy Ale on tap.
I like to believe it is named after former University of Michigan student Iggy Pop, but I can't be sure.
So, I'm burnin' a fat one
Gill's Pier Cab-Franc. Grilled a 20oz NY strip to soak it up.
It's been a disappointing day...
And a few of them in tribute to my favorite watering hole ever burning to the ground as we speak.
Long live Building H.
MONSTER ENERGY DRINK.
TWO FINALS NEXT WEEK.
GOTTA CRANK OUT SOME ALL NIGHTERS.
WHY AM I HERE. WHY IS THIS WALL HERE. WHERE DID THAT WALL GO. I DON'T DRINK CAFFEINE VERY OFTEN.
I had a Societe Apprentice. Anyone know this one? So delish.
I also have a confession...one week left in my current home, as I am about to close on a new home from a pair of Sparties. So disturbing that I wanted the place so badly, I actually really sucked up to them. I even wore green once to impress them. So. Ashamed. Please don't ban me...I think this is probably my second worst mgoblog moment.
The area that burned in 2003. The old part.
Thing is, the people were actually really nice. I liked them. Now I will plaster that house with my M Flag as often as possible.
End of times feeling for sure. But all those people rebuilt because they love their community, and the area is beautiful again. We lived in OC at the time...a bunch of ash fell on us 60 miles away.
Thanks for the well wishes. I love it here, but miss my Michigan people.
What are you smoking?
Is that you?
Laphroaig. That is all.
I'm drinking a lot.
Some ice cold Schmidt's Gay
Just Cabernet. I was at a work event so I was careful. Didn't even finish my 2nd glass.
Time to start pounding
Founders Centennial IPA. Just cracked the first one.
No alcohol tonight, smoking some good og kush in honor of Mitch. Although I do have some Smirnoff Ice in the fridge that I've been saving.
Colt 45, and two zig zags.
Baby that's all we need.
There was this blind man right...
means no drinking tonight, but tomorrow night will be different. My first kid is coming this week, so this is technically my last weekend ever. lol. It's going down!
Congrats. My wife and I just had our first this last Wednesday. It's definitely a challenge but also a lot of fun so far. Best of luck and health to you and your new family.
Congrats to you and your wife. We just had our second. It's going to be quite an adjustment, but I hope you'll enjoy being a father as much as I do.
I'm sure it's going to be a huge adjustment but we're pretty excited. Go Blue!
Rebel IPA. Meh. No two hearted but it will do.
Blue. Playoff hockey. God I love this sport.
Fingers and Fingers of Bulleit. Cheating on craft beer for the night. Don't tell anyone
Ethos IPA from Tallgrass. Picked up a four-pack while traveling through Kansas a couple weeks ago. I'd recommend it if you can find it and like IPAs.
Spent the night at Bell's celebrating my graduation from WMU tomorrow, and my graduate beginning at Michigan in the fall.
For Mitch tonight. No drinks for me.
What do you Michiganders pay for a bottle of KBS up there when a bar has them for sale? Down here in Iowa they had some for $14 a pop where I was tonight. Again, a 12 oz. bottle, not from a keg. I said eff that noise but was close to pulling the trigger at one point when I realized the GF was drunk and remembered this shitty day's early news.
(I also have 7 left at home to drink).
to find KBS in a bar anywhere. In a bottle? Maybe. In a keg? Wow, I would think KBS on tap would be even harder to find--- as limited as the production is, I don't know that anone has it on tap other than at Founders.
I still have two bottles in my beer cellar out of a 4-pack a buddy picked up at Founders last year on KBS Introduction Day. I think it was priced at about $28 per 4-pack ($7 per bottle), so yeah, $14 per bottle at the bar seems perfectly reasonable, considering.
It's $19/ 4 pack. Or $6 on draft.
Anyone still up?
Nature called after those Bell's I consumed last night. But also forgot to sign off before bedtime last night and noticed that the drinking thread was still up on the screen...
Last night: Crown
This morning: Gatorade on the golf course (with a huge headache.)
I'm getting old at twenty-three (23).
A little late to the party, but:
1. Great Lakes Christmas Ale (in April!)
2. Dragon's Milk 22
3. Southern Tier Creme Brûlée stout 22
Who needs dessert when you have #3?
After a bottle of Chianti at a pizza "bistro", along with a BBQ chicken pizza with the wife. Pizza was great!
Got home and opened a second bottle of red and might have finished one glass before falling asleep.
I am getting old!
Diet Dr. Pepper.
I drinks alcohol
