I think any thoughts on the Wings demise has been quite exaggerated, they had the Sharks on the ropes at the end of the period, LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!

problem with this, is that Zetterberg should be 1-13 (# of times he's been in the playoffs) and the rest should follow.

The end of the period (after the final penalty kill) was especially heartening. Dats, Rafalski, Lidstrom, and company really camped out and went to work in their zone. Pure Red Wings possession hockey.

Right now the Sharks have had 8 power plays whereas the Red Wings have only had 3. Not to put this straight to conspiracy as a few or the Wing's penalties weren't total B.S., but I think that Gary Bettman has an influence on who wins each playoff series. He wants the most marketable team to win and he really hates the Wings. I mean c'mon... during the regular season the Wings were the 2nd least penalized team whereas the Sharks were the 7th MOST. Does anyone else find that 8 powerplays to 3 is a little uncanny seeing that statistic? Or am I just whining? Fuck
