OT- Walking Dead/Sunday Night open thread

Submitted by WMUgoblue on

Well less than hour from the season 2 finale of the Walking Dead, some lingering questions still remain, and hopefully we'll get plenty of answers tonight.

If you're not caught up with the show/novels than *SPOILERS AHEAD*

  • How's Rick going to break the news about Shane?
  • Will we see appearances of either Michonne or Tyrese (could T-Dog be the shitty Tyrese replacement?)
  • Where are they going to go after the farm, maybe the Prison or possibly Woodbury?

Feel free to use this as the Sunday night open thread if you wish to talk about the March Madness events, or the Pistons choking away a road game to the Clips.

(save it everyone, it's on the "to watch" list, don't worry), but I am looking forward to new Luck, Californication and Eastbound and Down tonight.

Sitting here in my living room while the girlfriend watches Harry Potter and reads some impressive sounding engineering book, about to crack open a beer and crack the windows. Another beautiful night.

about her pitching in there somewhere.

I don't know how you engineering types do it; I can see the lure of some of the "sexy" jobs building jet engines or a new biomedical device and everything, but the work itself...let's just say it doesn't seem like my thing.

More props to all of you that do it, though; I don't know many engineering students back at IU to compare salaries with, but I bet at M the average engineering student has better financial prospects than the average Ford student, (my field) to say the least, so you're obviously wanted/needed by the world.

Can't wait till the season 5 premier next Sunday.  Sorry, i know it is not on tonight but one of the best shows on TV is finally coming back in a week.

Playing like, well, Ohio. Low seeded teams that spring an upset rarely move on. Exceptions exist like George Mason a couple years ago, but most flame out. Norfolk State down 28 in the first half.

I'm so hype for this episode.I'm disappointed its gonna go away until August though. The Zombie army that's coming looks pretty scary and we will definitely lose at least 2 cast members.

Walking dead is horribly overrated, IMO. I am looking forward to Californication and Eastbound and Down, though. Can't wait for Mad Men next Sunday.

I've heard some VERY interesting things about what will happen in this finale. I won't share any of them here but will give a couple teasers. These are all rumors so don't take any of this too seriously.

For those of you who have followed the comics (not me), there may be a location change at the end of the episode that will be familiar too you.

There is also rumors of a certain new character from the comics being introduced near the end of tonight's episode.

I have also heard that this finale is going to be INTENSE. So....buckle up I guess? Is that only for recruiting?

Enjoy!

But not gonna happen.  Actually in the comic Andrea and Carl are pretty decent characters.  In the TV show, Lori and Ricks are the worst parents in the world:  You have one son, the world is crawling with flesh-eating zombies, and you can't keep track of him or keep him from wandering off for even a few minutes.
