You have so much to learn grasshopper.
you need to watch 28 days later. But Zombieland is a cult hit as well.

Shaun of the Dead.
Though I think Walking Dead follows the Night of the Living Dead classic Zombie motif more.
28 days later is NOT a zombie movie.

The show can go anywhere now. Looks like next week's season finale is going to be a zombie slaughter with a few good guys going down. Next season they are going to have to leave the farm. No question there are new characters coming. How does Rick keep it all together? I'm hooked big time.
.....but I'm sick of the farm. Glad to see that it looks like they're going to be moving on.
It's been promised that the secret Jenner told Rick at the CDC will be revealed in the finale. My guess is that they are all carriers of the virus (he blood tested them all).
Holy shit.
I just realized that the people, and not the zombies, are "the walking dead".
/headasplode
no. They're still alive though, just doomed to become "Walking dead"

The title of the show refers to the Survivors, not just the zombies. It's not only their physical state, but their state of mind, and future.

"The title of the series actually refers to the survivors, which should tell you who this show is really all about,” said Charlie Collier, AMC president.
Excusing the double-post from above, I think you're on to something Sentrik. My final thought is that the virus MUST be present in all living hosts, but remains dormant until death when the conditions are right for it's effects to take place.
a nasty visual.
If it is a blood virus then I don't think it would be passed onto the child until it was born. AIDS is not easily passed from mother to child during pregnancy so I don't see a reason for the zombie virus to.
What would be interesting is that if the virus is airborne what happens when an infant catches the virus. Can an infants immune system fight off the virus, will it die, or something in between? Food for thought.
Next best? I think you mean "Dancing with the Stars."
+1 for Breaking Bad fandom.

Indeed. What happens if Herschel
dies of a heart attack or in his sleep? He's an old man, it's not out of the question. You've got a walker roommate.

*SPOILER*
Why does Shane go into zombie mode in like... 5 minutes but the two guys killed in the bar never did? Come to think of it, Rick may have put another in the head of the fat shotgun guy but I don't think he did the one behind the bar.

He shot both in the head.
No plothole.

you are correct sir. would also explain sophia, unless she had bite marks.
Sophia had a huge bite mark on the side of her neck when she walked out of the barn so I think it's safe to assume that's how she died...
Supposedly everyone is infected with the virus its already in your blood (supposedly this is the secret the scientist at the CDC told Rick)......you just have to die to become a walker.....unless you are killed by head force trauma.
Also, what's with the Korean pizza boy? You're living day-by-day in a Zombie Apocalypse, and the hot farmer's daughter asks you to move into her bedroom, and you say NO???
In Night of the Living Dead ALL the dead came back to life. So this is indeed a classic story line. Although zombies bite, that is not how it is spread.

was AWESOME. That's all I can say.
