Things should be picking up quickly here.
If anyone's interested here ya go!
To who the walker pets were. Obviously Michonne hated them but I wanted more.
Preyforandrea means she finally dies.
She obviously is making her way to the prison the entire episode... Gonna stretch this war out all season.. Damn it
I like when they do flashbacks, hope they Add a few more in throughout the show.
I wouldn't expect to see the war in this episode. Gotta save something for the finale.
I really hope she dies.
Seeing her turn and then Michonne killing her.
Yes, please and thank you. Milton better get out of there ASAP as well.
He and that chuck will be leaving Woodbury soon. The other two guys will be killed.
I hope this episode picks up. These last two have been slow, just setting up a big event. They need to start getting to the point already!
I disagree a little bit, I think the episode with Morgan was excellent and was a great episode character development wise for the Rick/Michonne relationship. The last episode was kind of slow but still entertaining, this has been lights years ahead of last season.
I noticed that on Andrea's knife kill. Hope that was just an abiration.
Just me or are the CGI zombie deaths more obviously CGI lately?
It's not just you. It's lazy.
I have a bad feeling that they are going to drag this war out until the final episode of the season(only two left after tonight) and the real action will just start as season 3 end. This will make us wait until season 4, in October, to find out the conclusion of the war.
But it won't be the full answer. We will know that the prison win the war but we won't know who is dead, probably including Daryl and Rick.
Man, I've been watching the first two seasons of Game of Thrones again in prep for the S3 premier and it just makes me realize how great that show is any how TWD is simply fun entertainment that usually, but not always holds my interested.
37 minutes in and next to nothing has happened. No character development (unless you count Tyrese or Milton...). Plot wise, Andrea left Woodbury. In 37 minutes that's what has happened.
Sigh. I am growing weery of defeding TWD when we get stuff like this.
Maybe it's just that the B-plots of each episode are just so weak. This Andrea plot would be fine if we could contrast it with something else interesting happening. Like maybe Carl and Glen fortifying the prison or something. WTF is going on there? Where the hell is everyone else?
Woah what just happened?
Well who was the masked pyro? Suspense!
She took the governors truck right?
They write this show so 5 yr olds can be fooled. One thing i don't like is that its not very smart. Everything is obvious.
She is really good at surviving. Smart move with the door and additional sabotage to Woodbury.
I was wrong
FUCK that asswipe.
I don't get why everyone wants Andrea dead. I like Andrea, and I'm glad she's heading back over to the prison.
That Andrea choose sex over Michonne, who of course is the only reason Andrea is still alive.
The only reason I don't like her is that she is a terrible actress. What is with all that head bobbing every time she talks?
If you don't see the Villain literally die, he's not dead.
And even then, if his head wasn't chopped off, you didn't see him die.
Ok, I think I'm retracting my above statement...
that the biters were still alive in the pit even after burning.
burned up the biters I bet.
Yup i was thinking the same.
Milton was going to get killed at the end there.
So the AMC StorySync asked the poll question "Why did Milton do it?" after he asked about the biters being burned.
Did I miss where they made it obvious that Milton did it, or did AMC just spoil their own show?
Hah I can honestly say I didn't see that, but that's priceless if they indeed spoiled it for their own viewers.
I think it was subtle, not so much as obvious, that he did it after The Governor asked Tyreese where he got the gasoline to burn the pits, and Tyreese had no clue what he was talking about. The only person I thought could have done it at that point was Milton.
I think the dialogue between Milton and the Governor also gives it away. When Milton reveals his knowledge about what happened and they gave each other a brief knowing glare, I thought "Milt, you sly dog!"
Also think about who would have had access to a truck so easily? I thought it was obvious even without the Tyrese statement.
Yeah, thanks guys. Talking Dead confirmed it. That's what I get for trying to watch a TV show and get work done at the same time. Miss those subtleties. Shame on me.
So it looks like Andrea is going to get the Michonne treatment from the comics.
Its almost like the governor knew exactly how that scene would play out and actually had that contraption for Andrea.
All that's missing back there in the Governor's workshop is The Gimp.
The only thing less likely is what the Govenor got back being shown.
It looks cheap, the writing is crap, they just fill space with random zombie fights and every episode is the same. Also, hi, I'm going out to the woods filled with zombies who try to bite me, let me wear this linen shirt with the sleeves rolled up, jeans and my neck exposed with just a tiny knife. At this point people would have developed bite proof clothing and ways of developing weapons on the run . So, if its not good drama and not good thoughtfully, what is it? Just a bunch of computer gore.
I know I'm late to this but I didn't watch it until late last night. How many times is there going to be complaining about this show? I know it's not Game of Thrones, but AMC isn't HBO. They are a little handcuffed in that aspect of not being able to keep it inline with the comic. I just started reading the comics and I like how in the show there is large deviations from the storyline. It makes it more interesting for me personally to watch. The last few shows have been slow, but I thought last year was much worse when it came to being slow. I like season 3, but season 3 has been better in my opinion it just feels like every thread we have for this people complain about the show, but yet every week we all watch it. It's not the worst show in cable tv an is actually despite being slow at times better plot, special effects, and better characters than most shows.
*I liked season 2, but season 3 has been better
Show as a whole, more over the laziness of these recent episodes. There are reasons they have had writers and show runners leave recently. Glenn Marzara being a huge departure was a signal for me. Those "creative" differences usually mean shows are going to drag out. Just hoping for something that takes a bit of thought.
I don't see this as a 1st half of season 2 problem at all. It seems like some people want them to get to fighting and have it over with in an episode. But what you consider lazy, others consider really good: "Clear"3 episodes ago was a side story, but is popularly considered one of the best episodes of the whole series.
Why the hell didn't Andrea steal the Governor's truck? I mean, good God, she was asking to get caught when she didn't. Obviously when she didn't, the Governor was going to go all "I'm a really bad guy, remember?" by (a) surviving the zombie onslaught, and (b) catching Andrea RIGHT BEFORE she gets to the prison (of course). One would think driving a truck would get you there faster and without any chance of the governor catching up to you again, even if he survives
Also why the hell would you traverse a giant open field when you know someone is looking for you? You're just asking to be tracked down at that point. It's not like there were no trees or anything anywhere.
I didn't like Andrea anyway...but the writing seems lazy here.
I'd need a pencil and paper just to keep track of the stupid shit she's done in just this one episode. I can't stand the constant whining about the show (from people who keep watching it no less)... But this episode was really bad and it was all on her character.
Also why is Rick on guard duty? You know, he of seeing things?
