OT - Vote for Marquette to be the next Hockeyville

Alright fellas, help your UP bretheren out in this year's Kraft Hockeyville competition: https://www.krafthockeyville.com/ Lakeview Arena needs updates just like us Yoopers need hockey to stay sane during our 8 months of winter (and 4 months of probably not winter). Plus, a NHL game up here would be amazing. Ever since the BIG TENNNNN hockey thing, NMU doesn't really get the big names on the schedule. If y'all get us voted in, I'm planning a tailgate with a selection of local brews!

Ah, yes. I believe they used to be the front act at Pseudo Echo concerts back in the day, or perhaps for the Hoodoo Gurus. Something like that. Pretty sure.

As for the OP's topic, I did vote - Marquette would be an interesting place to have an NHL game indeed.

Obviously.  Like many out there, I played at Lakeview Arena.  Also old enough to remember when Lakeview replaced The Palestra.  Now that was an arena.

Would be great if the Board help push this forward to victory.
