I remember a time when my biggest dilemma was "Sesame Street" or "Pinwheel" on the then-fledgling Nickelodeon. More often than not, it was "Sesame Street", and I admit, The Count played a large part in that decision. Condolences to Jerry Nelson's family.

I dressed up as The Count for Halloween when I was five. My dad couldn't figure out why I would choose that character. It seemed totally obvious to me. Who was cooler than The Count to a five year old??
He will be missed.
