OT: Since the video game thread went so well: Final Fantasy 13
Thoughts? Are you getting it? Are you excited? Obviously if you're going to get it you have to go with the PS3 version because the XBox version apparently has not great graphics and 3!! discs.
I was really excited when I heard about the new FF game about a year ago, but now I'm on the fence as to whether or not I want to get it. Honestly I'll probably wait until IGN comes out with their review tomorrow and then make it a game time decision on Tuesday.
Def rather wait a couple weeks and just buy God of War 3.

Not going to rush to the store to get it, but will pick it up sooner than later for 360.
Looks like another nice addition to the franchise, but I've never really enjoyed the games enough to invest much time in them. Still, I expect it to break a bunch of sales records and keep the fans happy.
Western RPGs > Japanese RPGs
I thought 12's battle system was ultra boring so hopefully they have a demo or something, otherwise I won't even consider buying it. But like the guy above me said, I am really pumped for GOW3!
I'm looking forward to getting it but I really don't think I'll be able to get all the games I want this year right when they come out. I cn't keep up financially or time-wise. Too many good games scheduled for 2010.
I've been waiting years for the new God of War. I'm also putting aside a few minutes later this year for Fallout New Vegas also since so many here pointed me toward Fallout 3 after my ignorance of all things RPG.
