OT: USWNT vs Nigeria
Big changes for the USWNT as Jill Ellis starts both Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan. Tobin Heath also back in the lineup as they close out the group stage tonight against Nigeria.
Nigeria's coach hasn't watched any film on the US because he "prefers to focus on his own team". Okay.

Hate Uruguay (unless they play England); a Copa America will add to the legend of Messi. Come on Los Albiceleste!
Actually this is by far the best the US has looked on both ends so far this tourney. Should be 2-0 really.
Yeah, was giving them benefit of the doubt...but seriously, the refs have been bad. US should have had a PK in Sweden. And so should the Sweds.
Really can't seem to finish many chances thus far in the tournament
fantastic diagonal ball. right in her stride
A well deserved yellow, despite her injury. That was closer to a cross check than an actual header attempt
dede deserves a better back four
So many offsides.
I'll be honest, dont keep up a lot, but it seems to me this team seems light years behind the 2011 version. New coach the problem or US have a few to many old legs still going?
Thanks for the response.....I will say the back 4 seems move lively than they did in 2011 though. Looks like fresher legs in those spots.
It is nice to see Nigeria struggling
Fucking Australia. Can't believe it. And Nigeria's soccer teams--deep pool of talent, so much athleticism, yet always (except in 2014) fail to find a decent coach and field a good team. So whom will the US most likely draw in the knockout stage?
Thanks
