OT - USMNT Motivational Posters and other Pro-USA Items

Submitted by Court Wenley on

Hello All,

Back during the Olympics there were a couple of forum topics with good Pro-USA sayings, images, and videos in preparation for the two thrilling hockey games against Canada. As a result of me being so excited for the game tomorrow I was hoping the MGoCommunity could help me out and find a few more of these. I have added an example from the Olympics because it is awesome, and another relating to the world and Europe in general. I apologize for the political incorrectness, but I find it funny.

GO USA!!!

...fire you up to kick some Limey ass, I don't know what will!  Yeah, my ancestors fought in the original Revolutionary War in South Carolina.  One even was held prisoner on a British prison ship in Charleston Harbor before he escaped and got back to helping to kick the Redcoats from here to Chelsea!

...are upset at the American reaction to BP's oil spill response:

Major Conservative political leader and Mayor of London Boris Johnson has called President Barack Obama's language "anti-British" after the President called BP 'British Petroleum' rather than its modern name.

Conservative Lord Tebbit's quote is just too vitriolic to paraphrase.

From The Daily Mail:

"The whole might of American wealth and technology is displayed as utterly unable to deal with the disastrous spill - so what more natural than a crude, bigoted, xenophobic display of partisan political Presidential petulance against a multinational company," said Lord Tebbit.

Poor, poor multinational company British Petroleum, I mean BP.  The Nats need to win to help us silence Lord Tebbit and Mayor Johnson and their ilk.

Remember, the tradition is that politics stops at our shores.  This isn't politics, it's a matter of national pride, damn it!
