It's just the start of repercussions...

Is there any school more deserving of this?

They failed to remove USC from the back-to-back winners list at the bottom. I had to look up what this trophy even was, never heard of it until today.

off too lightly. Only time will show if they paid enough of a price. If they keep winning without a hitch, they didn't.

Grantland Rice was one of my favorite sportswriters from the early 20th-century. I believe he wrote that great poem, back when when both Yale and Michigan were national powers.

"Outlined against a blue-gray October sky the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction and death. These are only aliases. Their real names are: Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley and Layden."
Yikes!!!
Wrong national power!

They could have armed every team with one of these trophies that year and allowed them to bludgeon USC with them during the games and it wouldn't have mattered. We all know who was the best team in the country and the fact that one of the superstars on their team took benefits doesn't change that.
Their dominance and greatness doesn't change in my mind.
