2013 DE Kylie Fitts has become the latest USC decommittment, which brings the total to five for the Trojans this recruiting cycle. The other four: Eddie Vanderdoes, Max Redfield, Eldridge Massington, and Sebastion LaRue. He also cites an incident that caused him to "question his trust" in the coaches, but does not get into the nitty gritty. This is a little bizarre, considering that he was supposed to enroll early. Also weird, that he is still holding them high on his list. Link, per ESPN.
This is starting to get weird, especially since most of these decommittments have occured very recently. A result of USC's poor season, or are they all related to the ominous sounding incident mentioned above? FEED THE SPECULATION MONSTER.
Also, to make this more relevant to us, Fitts does not appear to hold an M offer despite having one from just about everyone else. Vanderdoes had some interest for a while but doesn't seem to be considering M this time around, and Redfield/Massington have recommitted elsewhere. LaRue seems to be the only possibility of the five, unless someone out there has heard buzz about Fitts and M.
