US down 0-1 late in the 1st

Hey, we're back on line. Halftime.
Jozy has made two nice runs, the latter of which resulted in the Nat's best chance thus far. That's gotta be the bright spot of the first half.
who thinks Dempsey looks a step slower than anyone he's paired against? rough 1st for him.
great ball control
I'm going to be really sick of U2 by the end of the WC.
Beautiful 1 touch goal from Jozy!
How well has Findley played? Glad they kept him
played well. His speed made a difference and he played a beautiful ball to Landon to set up Altidore's goal
I was really impressed with Findley today, as well at Torres. I was definitely was surprised when Robbie was included in the 23, but he looked really good today.
I like Ching, but Findley is really playing well in the 2nd half. His presence has really made the difference in linking the midfield and forwards (never thought I would say that)
I love soccer. I love the USA. Let's go!
2-1 on Dempsey's goal. What great strength, and finishing ability!
I know Turkey is essentially packing it in, but 1st and 2nd half performance are night and day different
good god. England will bury that every time
between Hungary and Turkey to be played on Thanksgiving already?
overall decent win. You got to like coming from behind, and seeing good stuff from Findley, Torres, and co. That being said the defense is scary; very susceptible to the counter-attack. If the US is going to advance to the second round and beyond in South Africa they're going to have to shore that up.
Obviously Dempsey and Donovan can always be counted on, but I thought that Torres played really well. I concur with others who also said that Findley was a great sparkplug.
I still think Bornstein is a huge liability. Not eager to see him get any minutes at the WC.
but the d scared the hellout of me ...
we need gooch healthy in the middle
if hes not i think we will only be playing 3 times in sa
I thought Torres and Findley were really good subs. Findley playing well today just showed me how much little I knew about his pace and his skill. I thought he played very poorly against Netherlands, but I guess Bob Bradley knew what he was doing all along.
was quite painful, especially on defense. The second half was much improved with pace and possession. Obviously it is nice to get the result, but the US must play far better defensively to get out of group play.
