Don't go to OSU, Urban Meyer is just going to leave you high and dry due to health reasons, just like he did to Florida.  How has Florida done lately?  They drilled into his skull in the offseason.

I also beleive that a chiropractor and/or massage could totally help relieve stress or tightness, pinched nerves etc which can cause headaches.  I'd hope he tried some of this and not with undergrads(wait, not Petrino okay may be safe....).

Not sure if the drilling into skull part is even correct 100%(Depends on cyst location), but most negative and/or dirty recruiting isn't anyway.

I mean Dantonio called Hoke the pillsbury doughboy but that can't be correct as he's still alive.

Any type of surgery with the brain is scary as hell - I dont care how "minor" it seems to the clinicians.  I hope he recovers fully and I hope the surgery was successfull in all ways.

As a Michigan grad who had his cancer successfully treated at the Ohio State James Cancer research center can tell you with absolute first-hand experience that some things....no MANY things...are far more important than football.  This is definitely one of them.

I hope the pain is relieved. I do not have chronic headaches, but I know too many people who do suffer that way, and I know it isn't fun. I do hope that the surgery is successful, meaning not only that there are no complications, but that this brings relief from regular headaches.

While I hope Michigan's football fortunes increase significantly, I don't want to link that to Meyer's headaches and to bringing him pain. For me, it is about Michigan doing well and playing well and improving. While this means that I want Michigan to win all their games, the affect Michigan's winning has on other teams or coaches is immaterial to me.

and his family the best.

This story was talked about on this blog yesterday, with less detail, and it was thought to be inaccurate.  But it does show that we should continue to be careful of the stories we float on this blog.

My prayers to him and hope he is back at work quickly.  As someone else said, a strong Michigan and a strong Ohio State.

...he doesn't suffer for his success.  I understand why you'd want him as your coach, but I wouldn't want to be him.  I hope he gets some relief from this.

I really disdain Urban, but I would never wish for such health problems on my worst enemy. Dudes getting a hole drilled in his skull...minor surgery or not, that sounds like no fun at all. Hope for a speedy recovery.
