OT - Urban Meyer probably not taking leave of absence
As expected, it looks like Urban won't take any time off after all. I wish him the best health wize.

THE LAWD HAS DECREED FROM UPON HIGH that Urban Meyer shall coach Shariff Floyd

and again, another ploy to attract attention to himself when he feels like nobody is paying attention.

needs to get Meyer a copy of Bo's Heart of a Champion book. Everything he needs to learn and know is in that book.

I, for one, am completely shocked!

Tim Tebow decreed that Urban must coach this year, and so it shall be.

So Tim Tebow really does have healing powers...

I mean seriously. It's becoming a Favre story. I'll just find out what REALLY happens their opening game if I decide to pay attention.

Post NSD I think we hear the real story...come March...relapse. It was extraordinary to come out with this story before the bowl game. Extraordinary means to me this was real. Meyer saw the recruiting implications and backed down (when I think he felt a little better as well - who really knows what is going on - I don't.)
Regardless - so close to NSD I don't see how you can see this as anything but propaganda for the recruits. The Shariff dream from God thing was weird. The BCS hooha in 2006 was weird. This is weird. Urban Meyer can be weird.

This situation smells very similar to the Brett Favre situation. This type of thing annoys the crap out of me. If you are not 100% sure of what you will do, then don't say anything at all. Say it is only a possibility at this point if people ask. Don't freak everybody out by saying that you are leaving and making it seem like you are retiring completely. Totally understandable to have health issues and everything. I wish him the best, but at the same time, don't jerk everybody around for no reason.
