This guy loves Michigan, Michigan Athletics, and has "made it happen" at Michigan for 30 years.

Cheers to Ken!

UMS is a big deal in Ann Arbor and has been killing it for years, bringing in would reknowned performing artists to town. They play a big role in crafting the image of Ann Arbor as a global and cultural destination. UMS also received the National Medal of Arts from President Obama recently. So...not exactly a light weight.

It was formed over 100 years ago specifically to perform Handel's Messiah and they've been doing it every year since their founding.

No other choir does it better.

The caliber of the performers that Ken was able to invite over the years is truly unparalleled, especially for a college town. Andras Schiff with his complete Beethoven sonatas. Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, on the same stage. Virtually every major orchestra. Incredible.
