I was always more stoked about Michigan than I was the football team. Once I graduated and left, the games became more important (maybe because that was all the Michigan I could experience from a distance?). Still, I get pretty stoked whenever I see someone rocking the block 'M,' and no amount of losing football seasons will ever change that.

I never left. Even though I'm not an adolescent male, I get stoked all the time.

The things that are going on across campus, in departments, in student groups, at the hospital--it's seriously awesome. At least once a week I hear about something where my reaction is, "We do that here? Really? Incredible." This place is even greater than most students have the time or energy to find out about while they are here. And that's what I think about on days like last year's UM-Northwestern game, which nature conspired to make about the most demoralizing loss ever. This place still is tops, even on a bad Saturday.
