OT - UFC 144 Open Watch Thread

For all the MMA fans I will probably watch the dunk contest first and check out the UFC pre-lims on commercials.  What are you excited for tonight?

Better get your tap out shirt, your blank black hat and find a spot at bdubs, order a water and sit back for two hours and waste the waitress's time. Oh yeah as Bart Scott once said: Can't Wait!

a UFC fan, who doesn't wear tapout shirts or anything like that.  I normally do watch most of the fights, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to order PPV for an Edgar vs. Henderson main event.  I'm still debating...maybe I can find it for free streaming somewhere.  Anyone have a link?

Thanks for the link.  I used to be an MMA hater many years ago, back when I thought boxing was king, but then the more I watched it, the more I learned how much of a chess match it really is.  Once people actually understand just how much strategy actually is involved in MMA, then they might have a much better appreciation for the sport.

I think the kongo/hunt fight is interesting. Also it will be interesting to see how Rampage comes out since he was 5 pounds overweight. How hurt is he, motivated, injured? By the way.... who in the hell chooses the slam dunk contest over prelim fights? what's wrong with you?

then got his out of shape butt kicked by Ryan Bader for three rounds. All judges make 30-27 for a clean sweep by Bader. Rampage just looks like his heart isnt in it anymore, missed weight, fired his trainer cause he was accused of stealing, and ran out of the post fight without talking. Sad cause he was a Pride stud and had a few great years in the UFC also. Just sad seeing it come to an end.
