OT-U of M iPhone case

Just picked up the iPhone 5, looking to get a case. I'd ultimately like a solid case, something like an otterbox, with the block M pressed into it. Nothing like a sticker, I want something of quality. I'm sure there are a few on this board that came by something like this, any advice? Thanks in advance. **I totally understand if this is too far off topic and gets deleted

You could always get a custom one if you want, but here are some:

  • U of M Black Otter Box with Maize M, $47.95: HERE
  • Hardshell blue M with patterm, $24.99: HERE
  • Thinshell snap on case with M and cool lettering in background, $34.95: HERE

I'd go with the Otter Box if you need the protection, if not, I am a fan of the third one (the thinshell with lettering). It's the one that I have.  

That first link (the Otter Box one) is top quality. Great durable case, and it comes in all sorts of maze and blue designs and patterns, like polka dot, argyle, stripe, chevron, etc.  They also have a plethera of different Micigan logos to choose from.

I'm sorry but almost $50 for a phone case is in no way worth it, do you really need to show people that you're a Michigan fan just by bringing out your phone? This isn't necessarily directed at you, more at that fact that every case you linked is insanely expensive for a phone case. I got a plain blue Otterbox on Amazon for like $7 plus shipping.

The one I have was a Christmas gift from a relative, so I really don't know how much they paid for it. The OP said he wanted quality... And to be honest, I really don't care. Those were the first ones that came up when I did a google search... I wasn't exactly bargain hunting.
But the Otter Box is ridiculous. If you need your phone for work and you do work where it might fall quite often (like construction or something... Idk), then it's probably worth it. But other than that, it's not (though I loved the argyle).

Oh yeah for construction or any blue collar work for that matter it might be worthwhile but it's crazy how much cases go for. Like I said it wasn't directed at you, just more of a reply that the fact that all the cases linked were $25+ and that seems ridiculous just to show someone you're a Michigan fan.

I bought a black one on Amazon for a dollar and put an M sticker on it that came from a sheet that also cost around a dollar at Meijer. Works for me.

Saw the one with the inner yellow rubber case and the outer plastic winged helmet design online, couldn't order it anywhere...Finally saw it at mden on Main, had to have it($40).
