He tried to hit that handicapped person in the head.

Good thing he's Joe Bauserman than and couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.
October 10th, 2011 at 2:14 PM ^
Yeah missed him by 50ft though
October 10th, 2011 at 2:14 PM ^
But as usual he missed....

Yeah, but that was one of his completions.

man, taco pants would have had trouble reeling a couple of those passes in.

Sweet avatar, bro!!

I'm pretty sure one of those landed just a few hours ago.

The amount of vitriol and blame directed toward him from the OSU fanbase is moronic, disturbing, and par for the course. People try to say "durr that happened here with Navarre," but it doesn't begin to approach what you'll find on OSU forums. There were multiple threads with veiled threats, wishes of death and injury, and people just plain saying that they hate him. Not just isolated posters, but the collective, including the blog writers. There were also several threads ripping Braxton Miller for being soft, because he got injured, including one popular one titled "Braxton was a bitch in high school, and always will be." I hope Brian is all over this on TWIS.

Boo this man!!!
October 10th, 2011 at 2:24 PM ^
...he was actually 1 of 10 (10%), while this chart shows him at 3 of 24 (12.5%).
October 10th, 2011 at 2:34 PM ^
it says green is interceptions and completions. That being said, there should be 2 green dots. Also, he must have a CANNON arm to get the ball that far out of the playing field.
October 10th, 2011 at 2:58 PM ^
he's obviously been training with vick on some of those throws.
Embed Fail: please help

He's 3/24 on the road this season. This graphic just uses the Husker field as a background.

Why is Busermann getting all this crap. He was the only one that could do anything against MSU, the momentum was swinging to Neb before Miller got hurt, and the D should have been able to hold a freakin' 21 point lead, no matter the QB.
October 10th, 2011 at 2:38 PM ^
The QB is the face of a team and always gets more credit and more blame than the rest of the team.
That said, our OC has to take some crap for apparently abandoning the run with a lead and the clock as a factor. Our HC didn't use his timeouts to stop the momentum/bleeding. We have rotating captains this season, meaning we have effectively no on the field leaders. Not that I'm making excuses. I'm just agreeing that Bauserman is getting a lot of crap. He deserves some of it though, because this chart is hauntingly accurate.

stuff against MSU, were you referring to his stellar 6.2 YPA?

I see you've never heard of Jim Bollman.
October 10th, 2011 at 2:42 PM ^
You're up 21 in Memorial Stadium when your starting QB goes down and your D is starting to struggle... Bauserman or Sheridan?
I choose Death (Sheridan).

Vincent Smith!
October 10th, 2011 at 3:02 PM ^
Vincent Smith can do everything. Did you see his tackle form? Dude is awesome.
October 10th, 2011 at 2:59 PM ^
Sheridan. At least he had the "spread excuse."
October 10th, 2011 at 3:02 PM ^
I lost 10 years of my life watching Sheridan play. Ugly memories bro!
October 10th, 2011 at 3:07 PM ^
I gained years because of Denard
October 10th, 2011 at 3:08 PM ^
He at least got the team into field goal range.
October 10th, 2011 at 3:20 PM ^
Bauserman can't throw the ball that far.
October 10th, 2011 at 5:01 PM ^
The catch by the guy in Section 39 was spectacular though. It was a typical Bauserman "go for the ionosphere" jump ball, but he held onto it.
October 10th, 2011 at 6:17 PM ^
I can remember when Pryor was still at OSU and opposing fans would comment that OSU was screwed if Pryor ever got injured; we were assured by Buckeye fans that Bauserman was a very good backup option if needed. Oddly, I don't hear them saying that anymore...
October 10th, 2011 at 7:21 PM ^
No buckeye fan ever said that.
October 10th, 2011 at 10:01 PM ^
Does OSU have only two scholarship QBs? I can't believe all they've got is Miller and Bauserman. Did they not recruit anyone in between Pryor and Miller?
October 11th, 2011 at 5:39 PM ^
OSU has so many issues, he's not been given much to work with and is definitely not helping himself, JB is just horrible........
