But that was a long time ago, I dont understand why everyone always attributes these types of things to the college, what are they supposed to do about it?
OT - tOSU is really lookin good - Vrabel arrested (see link)
Sometimes college graduates commit crimes. Get over it.
No program is exempt.
Most of his stuff took place while he was still at UofM. Sure you can't stop kids from making a mistake, but at that point you at least have some control. Once they graduate there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.
Oh... wait... nevermind.
I wouldn't accept any packages if I were you.
And avoid airplanes.
Too bad my +1 won't get you out of Bolivian.
Is that Tate?
bad apples everywhere
Someone didn't save his last two paychecks as the NFLPA advised.
yes, I was about to post the local area cincinnati article.
when it rains, it pours. this whole ohio state episode is like a infinitely glorious trainwreck you just can't stop watching but for some reason you don't feel as bad about the victims as you feel you should.
edit: I know this has nothing to do with current ohio state problems but still doesn't paint them in any better light.
they could go to med school and spend years studying and in residency, or they could make millions upon millions of dollars yearly playing a game they love, then coasting into an easy post-playing days life of "analysis" and commentating. Tough choice, I'm sure.
Not sure which is worse:
1. That you actually spent time having "doubts" about whether Vrabel would go to med school? And why would it be a concern to you what his career choices are and to have it so ingrained that you are ready to pounce on him and the announcers is kind of scary.
2. That you actually try and rationalize which mistakes (all likely fueld by alcohol) are much worse..Pan on OSU boneheaded mistakes all you want but understand that DUIs have killed just as many responsible, responsible adults (and kids)....
All though I am a huge Michigan fan I really hope this is a mis-understanding. I have met Mike a couple of times and he is an extremely nice guy. He is really down to earth and this doesn't seem like him. He invited us into his house no questions asked. He is not the type to gloat about his accomplishments, he kept his super bowl rings in a drawer in his kitchen.
Really hoping this turns out a misunderstanding, I was/am a big fan of his.
Why are we pointing this out. Jalen and Kevin Grady both got arrested recently.
Yeah I hear you. Seems a little hypocritical.
Hard to still hate Vrabel. He comes out of the era of buckeyes that were 2-10-1 against us. God I miss those days.
Seriously, he's spent more time with Bill Belichick than tOSU.
I only talk about guys who commit crimes for Ohio State.
"It's the only way to be."
let it go.
