It was really nice to see mark herzlich already get signed by the Giants, after all he has overcome in his life it's great to see him make it to the NFL.
Glad to see Herzlich join my boys. There's an opportunity at LB there.
I thought he was a Raven? Guess not.
It's football talk well then I get all excited. I'm like Jojo the idiot circus boy with a pretty new pet.
I love my little pet...so I stroke it, and I pet it, and I masaaaage it, and I love it! I love my little naughty pet, you're naughty!
Picked up Cobrani Mixon!!!!! This will be a top ten selling jersey this summer.
Thougt the name sounded familiar, then remembered he was a former Michigan player who transfered to Kent St.
I remember living with him in Markley my freshman year, he was all about all the ladies.
what was he doing living that far north?
I am also happy to see Herzlich get signed. I am also pumped to see where all these big name guys go. I am a Chargers fan so hopefully they get their shit straight and resign some guys. Really excited to see where Nnamdi Asomuha (sp?) ends up at. Texans could really use his services, also am hearing Ravens. Its going to be an exciting couple weeks.
Both Mike Hart & Joseph Addai were posted yesterday on the Colts' list of declared free agents. Others of interest, the Cardinals list both Steve Breaston and Gabe Watson, Dhani Jones (Bengals), Prescott Burgess (Ravens), David Baas (San Francisco), Todd Collins (Bears). There are probably more, but it's a long list and I haven't had my coffee.
To Miami, were getting the band back together.
Where did you see that?
Pulled it right from my ass. Dhani and B.E. to Miami also. Ross want to turn South Beach to A.A. South so all the Dade County Recruits can see were they need to go to college to make the leauge.
Ever since Long and Henne went there the Phins have been the team I pull for other than my hometown team, and that got me really excited.
I too became a Phins slappy and thought Ross would demand at least one UM guy a year. You never know. I could see Miami taking any of the guys above. no /s.
Is Breaston really a part of the band? He did beat Ohio State once.
I heard talk this morning that Henne might not be around Miami too much longer or if he is, not in the starting capacity.
Jonathan Goodwin declared free agent from New Orleans. [Too late to edit my post. Took a day to have time to read the list more carefully.]
Great to see him get signed by Philidelphia.
West Bloomfield High Alumnus, great guy and great family.
Congrats to him and good luck. Happy to have him representing the state of Michigan.
To the Bears, good pick up for them.
I don't like it.
Boren to the Ravens. Ray Lewis will instill family values in him.
Once he gets cut, maybe he can plow Ray's driveway. Expand the family business a little.
He just did an interview on The Fan here in Columbus. He said he is excited to be working with his former Michigan position coach Andy Moeller again. I think that counts as something he said that is positive about his time in A2 so I should wish him luck. If anyone can build him into an NFL lineman, Moeller can.
fuck him. I wish him nothing but the worst. Hell I hope Pryor has a better pro-career than that fat tub of lard.
Don't care. There's no excuse for what he and his family did. I usually don't care about rival players once they go pro but this is my exception.
-Jake Delhomme may be cut from the Browns today
Not that it matters but I believe no players can be cut until 4pm on thursday.
Sure that teams that know they're making certain cuts are putting people on notice so their agents can talk to other teams.
but according to the rules, another team would not be allowed to contact said player before he is officially cut by his team. HOWEVA, I'm just going to agree with you because I don't want to get into a legal/ethical argument, it's already gonna be overwhelming trying to follow everything that will happen this week, nothing will be official as far as cuts go until thursday and no signing until friday?
John Clay to the Steelers. I wouldn't be surprised if Tomlin looks for him to fill a Bettis-type role since he'll have a few inches and 30+ lbs on Mendenhall. Either way, I just don't see Clay being a prolific back in the NFL. That's not to say he won't be a good back, just not a superstar.
Woohoo one of my best friends Travis Baltz (Punter, Maryland) was signed to the Colts. Kind of weird saying bye last night haha. For all of you Toledo residents, he went to Anthony Wayne.
Good decision by Palmer. Ohio sucks.
Seriously who ever moderated this as overrated needs to GTFO Ohio is a terrible place.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable can explain it to me. If Palmer "retires" (fills out the papers, etc) how long does he have to sit out for if he wants to sign with another team? Would it be for the duration of his contract? Would Cincy still owe him the money?
which is what is expected
Am I the only one who cringes when I see a non-OSU fan (and especially a UM fan) use the lower case "t" in front of another word to substitute for the word "the?" That's an OSU thing and I don't think UM fans should be doing it due to its extreme LAMENESS.
Perhaps you've heard of this new concept called mockery.
I hope the Lions don't overpay for Jonathan Joseph. I'd love to him, but at the right price.
Schefter tweets
"QB Drew Stanton has agreed to terms on a 1-year deal with the Lions."
Also, noted Michigan man Braylon Edwards thinks Jets aren't interested in resigning him. He would love to be back, but doesn't think feeling is mutual
