Swanson is the unquestioNed starter and when he played was rated as a top 10 Center in the league. As for LG that is Glasgows job to lose Dahl is the 6th lineman who can play almost every poistion. Don't know why people who claim to be Lions fans should know this already. Tomlinson is depth or trade bait. Unless something magical this offseason happens and he plays like a 1st round pick. Lions need a stud LB who can cover and they also need DE who can help Ziggy. To me those are the 2 biggest needs now.

I am 38 years old and I typically laugh at Lions fans when they get excitied, but the new GM is making some really good moves and building a quality roster. If you are going to say they are cursed or some crap than whatever, I won't argue with you. But if you just look at it logically, they are getting better fast.

Round 1 - Peppers

Round 2 - Lewis

Round 3 - Darboh

Round 4 - Glasgow

Round 5 - Hill

Round 6 - Stribling

Round 7 - Smith

In all seriousness I think they need LBs pretty badly. Coverage was bad last year and now Rodgers has two new pass catching TEs to worry about. No Levy leaves us with a thin roster of LBs who can play at all, let alone cover.

This is a big get. It not only greatly increases the quality of our line but does something similar in the opposite direction for a divisional foe. I like it!

We knew if he got to FA he was most likely not coming back,r eally we knew he wouldn't come back after the injury.  It hard to pay someone big moeny without seeing them eprform post injury.  Packer MGMT has a back up plan.

I never thought I'd see the day the Lions got a competent GM. Quinn has made his mark early. Can't wait to see what the draft looks like.
