OT - Tigers/Rays 8/22

Verlander on the mound. No no-hitter tonight (gave up a solo HR in the first), but he's pitching well otherwise. 2-1 Tigers in the bottom of the 4th.

Verlander pitched well after a shaky start and valverde does his best todd jones impression but they pull one out. Go Tigs!!!!

Good win to start the series, I'd gladly take a split here in Tampa, although we will have Max, and Fister in the final 2 games so anything can happen.
