"The only thing that has been consistent for this team is the inconsistency, and that's mind-boggling to me," manager Jim Leyland said. "We just aren't putting together the combinations that we need to win."
Ryan Raburn strikes out with men in scoring position. Some things never change.
97.1 wxyt blacking out the game on the normal online feed. I'm listening on MLB.com
May be able to watch too on MLB network
Hitters are chasing.
It's broken up.
He was going after everything.
Looks like the third gin and tonic will be a strong one, sorry Justin. I thought my boy had it in him.

Gin and tonic is gross anyway.
I'll take it over the vodka-crans and Shirley Temples you nancy-boys today are drinking.
I forgot, it makes you "manly" to choose drinks that taste like ass.
FUck. Shoulda buried another curve in the dirt. Hindsight 20/20
Rats. One bad pitch.
Oh well. Every Verlander outing is a chance at a no-hitter.
almost. That 8th inning when he struck out the side, that was electric.
That was impressive. This should quell the "what's wrong with Verlander", from the national media
There haven't been too many posts about Verlander having a "dead arm" around here lately, either.
Anyway. Helluva a performance.
Just got back from the game, and what an experience. The ballpark was electric and each and every pitch from the 5th inning on was intense, so so close. Oh well I'm sure JV we'll get his 3rd sometime in his career. Saw lots of good swings from 5-8 in the order, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come. Smyly on the mound tomorrow against Burnett so im thinking we should take game 2 as well. Go TIgs!
Do I blame my buddy who texted me after one out and said "he's got it"...Hell yes I do, that SOB
