OT: Tigers score in every inning
The Tigers became the 14th team in baseball history to score in every inning tonight in a game against the Rockies. Last team to do it was the Yankees in 2006. Fun fact, all the AL teams to do it completed the task at home, meaning they only were at-bat for 8 innings.

If the Rockies make some crazy comeback here and force the Tigers to bat in the bottom of the 9th and don't get a run... oh man. You'll get it worse than Thad.

Though it started in 1866, that game didn't end until just before Nixon visited China.
If that is the case, it must have been a split squad setup with the game just below it, the one against the now-defunct Defiance Club Of Ypsilanti. Given the scope here, I have to think that one ended - allowing for occasional breaks for meals - sometime in July of 1932. They used to play some truly epic games back in the formative years of baseball, eh?
Both sides were playing with corked bats. Probably not yet illegal in 1866.
I question whether they were playing slow pitch softball with a limit of 3 defenders in the field LOL

That woud have been back before players used baseball gloves. So the game resembled cricket in some ways back then, and you see how long cricket games last and how many runs they score.
I'm going to one of their next four games! (Of course, if we're lucky, your post could jinx them from underscoring...)
Scoring every innning at home doesnt "mean they were only at bat for 8 innings." Only if they were in the lead and the above doesn't guarantee that, as you know.
