OT: Tigers Reaction/Posbang

Submitted by Generic MGoBlogger on

Back to back home runs by Castellanos and Suarez in the ninth give Detroit a much needed win.  After a very poor offensive showing against the Yankees, hopefully this win will draw a little momentum going into the rest of this weekend series and next week.  As for this thread, reactions and analysis are acceptable along with posbang because back to back home runs make me happy especially when we scored only one run in the previous two games.

whole damn game. Till the ninth. I went to take a quick shower and then decided to shave as well.

Thats right....missed the whole damn thing!!

Came back just in time to call Nathan a few names before it ended.

I had my head burried in this blog with the game on in the background and when I heard to crack of the bat I said, "That's gone."  Unreal sound off of Castellano's bat.

I watched the entire thing, and me being me, I was cautiously optimistic that the Tigers could pull this one out of their you-know-what if they drove themselves to do it. Indeed, the 9th inning was superb and although Nathan makes it look like a puzzler sometimes, he still mostly manages to get these sorts of things done. Not exactly a stress-free game, but I'll take it.

I had a feeling castellanos was going to be aggressive at the plate. Once I heard the crack I knew the ball was out. Went to grab a beer and BOOM was suarez's dynamite. Awesome game.

Great win. My mlb.tv coverage was a little glitchy, so it jumped from a man on second to HOLY COW THAT BALL IS GONE TIE GAME!!!!!

Which I was totally fine with. Then I got to see Rajai Davis end the game twice!

Great comeback, top five game of the year so far.
