OT: Tigers-Rangers (Verlander v Darvish)

A rather nonchalant breaking pitch finds its way to the seats. We are tied 1-1.
JV struggling again tonight, obviously the Rangers are a good offensive club but JV is getting BABIP'd to go along with his little fastball control. So much for a pitchers duel thus far.
This is a little disappointing. Neither pitcher has great stuff tonight, but Verlander seems to have little control.
Verlander circa 2008 is on the mound in Arlington tonight, trying to blow everyone away with the fastball, and cant hit the strikezone.
Justin seems to get too hyped up in pressure games or games where there is a hype build up. It usually shows early in the games

When has JV given up 7 ERs in one inning? His control was so poor it was worse than Porcello's! Argh! Now tiger's hitters please do something!
I try not to worry about individual games too much during the first few months of the season anymore. They will drive you crazy. The Tigers will overcome a "tough" Indians squad by the middle of September.
They'll do it far before then.
Tigers will win this division by 8-12 games, it won't even be an interesting division to follow.
I like in the DFW area. I'm going to hear about this at work tomorrow. Living in this area has really allowed me to develop a hatred for the Rangers and their fans. Bunch of bandwagoners.
