Seems like Austin Jackson has more hits up the middle this season than he had all last season.

It has become apparent that we will need another starting arm at the trading deadline unless Scherzer and Porcello can get their stuff together. I think the hitting will come into form as the season goes on and we get Victor back.

I think having Monday off was big for them. Instead of going right from that series in NY and playing another series, they had a whole day to sit around and get ready for the Royals. I am sure they heard plenty about dropping 8 of 10 from Sunday to Tuesday.
Then again I could just be thinking this because they went out and won.
