I was pretty optimistic yesterday thinking Greinke would beat Chicago and that the Tigers would destroy Snell, thereby going up 4 games. From the looks of today's game, they'll be lucky to stay 2.5 ahead. The offense looks horrible yet again, and Washburn will probably give up 3 runs in this game.
I should stop getting my hopes up and accept that the AL central lead will never be more than 3 games, and won't be decided until the end no matter what happens in a current series. Just look at Minnesota the last two nights, coming back to win and remain afloat in the division. Tigers better watch out, and Huff better start hitting. Damn.
