Okay, this game needs to be brought up.
Nothing more for now.
Who you voting for for player of the game so far?
How you doing tonight?
That's amazing! In my family my sisters have the babies.
was it a boy or a girl?
Brandon Inge. Like most of the other booger-eaters who do that shit at FSD. [/sarcasm]
Had a steak and cheese sub from Jets for dinner. Actually underrated.
It sure is a nice day out today...
I'm really into magic. How about you guys?
dad cuz he is driving and he actually said a certain something about something and I was not amused. Rod and Mario are talking about it a bit too much for my liking
At least they haven't mentioned those two words.
Boobies? Oh wait, that is two syllables.
I had some great left-over blackbean, potato and corn burritos for dinner tonight. It was wonderful.
i didn't know 27 wins was such a milestone for all of this attention
1/3 to 80 win season?
I believe that would be 1/3 of 81
Huh. Maybe Austin Jackson is starting to heat up again.
Funny how fast a game goes by when, uh, nothing happens.
I'm late to the party, what's happening
is throwing a nine hitter
Anyone else watch For Love of the Game this weekend?
No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night...
The guys on ESPN are jinxing the shit out of this game.
Holy shit, what jackassery, ESPN. Could they have said "perfect game" any more often?
I see ya Jackson
with a 3-0 lead i would have figured more people would have left for their cars to avoid the traffic
dude was out by two steps!
I'LL SEE YOU IN THE PARKING LOT!
seriously. everyone on the field should just walk off. that is ABSURD.
That may be the worst blown call in Detroit Tigers history.
In baseball history
Is this a first in baseball history? A pitcher is robbed of a no-hitter by the umpire on what should have been the 27th out?
Is it possible for a benches clearing brawl just at one ump? That was bullshit
This is why I hate baseball.
Two words for Jim Joyce: Fuck you
Only possible explanation is Galaragga bobbled the throw
he did kind of 'reposition' the ball in his glove, but I there is no way that I could say he did not have possession. That is absolutely what the ump called, though.
Guess we will have to see what Joyce has to say. I thought Johnny Damon was out at first in the bottom of the 8th but Joyce called him safe.
Also the catch by Jackson was spectacular
That was an ass-fucking of epic proportions.
Jim Joyce ought to be thankful he has a union to protect his sorry ass. That still might not be enough. Where is Roberto Alomar when you need him?
I've never imagined being this angry after a win.
ugh. OG Photo was removed. Here is one I took off a screencap.
They'll never do this, but I would love to see MLB give Galarraga the perfect game retroactively by overturning the safe call, calling it an out. I don't think Joyce should be fired, but I also think he shouldn't be allowed to call a game the rest of the year. What a joke.
the replay joyce is watching cabrera field the ball and doesn't even get his head around to the play at first until its too late to get a great view. What a joke
I got up on my high horse, and was ready to proclaim that whomever is the MLB Commissioner should have the guts to step in and reverse this call. I can't imagine that Jason Donald (or his agent) or the Indians would object.
Then I googled "MLB commissioner," and realized that Bud Selig still has the job. He became acting commissioner in 1992, and never left.
With all that he and baseball have been through, could he not make an executive decision to reverse the call? Who would object?
